GENERAL
Technology Bookmarks For links to reading, math, science, social studies and more - click this link. You will find a list of bookmarks that we use in the KES Tech Lab divided by subject or grade. Many of the links are used for the class, however, there are also many links for homework help, kid-safe search engines, and other research.
KEYBOARDING
3rd through 5 graders have access to KES subscription to Typing Pal. They can access this program online through the [Link]Technology Bookmarks link, then to Keyboarding, then KES. They have user names and passwords that have been assigned in technology lab. All their work in Typing Pal will be saved. There are also several other programs that are listed in Keyboarding that can be used by all grades. Home row keys are taught in 1st and 2nd grades.
We are recommending that 4th and 5th graders practice keyboarding at home weekly. Student need to practice correct fingering and are not to look at the keyboard.
