KES KEY PRIORITIES 2006-2009
1. To develop a process which enables all students to be aware of and be able to use their own strengths and weaknesses to meet academic needs by goal setting, self-assessment, portfolios and student-led conferences.
2. To ensure that at all grade levels, students will develop appropriate time management skills and study habits leading to greater success and independence as life long learners.
3. To enhance our curriculum and instruction in the use of integrated technology at all grade levels.
4. To develop a process which will help our staff best deal with the stress of the ongoing changes in the educational field, including how to best manage the ever growing mandates.
5. To develop a process which allows students a voice in their education.
6. To enhance communications between home and school through the use of the SAU/KES websites.
