All meets start at 4:00. We will take a bus to and home from the meets.
.When:
Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 4:30.
First practice will be Monday, September 10th.
Why and How: This is a great opportunity for our students to come together as a school team and challenge themselves. All students who like to run as well as those who like to see if they can run. It is about the training …flexibility, strength, and aerobic endurance as well as the challenge to complete a 1 mile run. It also allows us to concentrate on personal improvement. Children will be encouraged to be aware of personal bests by knowing their times and working toward improvement in time.
**The only cost is the team t-shirt ($12.00). We need to put the order in ASAP. Please send in order form and $$ by the first practice. Team shirt will change this year.
**They are not required, but running shoes are helpful with support and stride.
**Any parent who would like to help with practices, just attend practice and I will put you to work.
