At a time when our lifestyles include many items that encourage inactivity...and...our dinner tables include more and more processed foods, Physical Education is just that...education about each child's physical being. We get only one chance...if we teach children to take care of their bodies now, just think what the future will hold for them?
Let's think about it ... it would be crazy to begin to teach children to read when they enter high school...it is just as crazy to wait to teach children about the benifits of a healthy lifestyles.
The tiime is now...we are excited about moving our bodies!
Throughout the year we will use sports skills, movement games, and activities to focus on the 5 components of physical fitness.
Aerobic endurance

Abdominal strength
Body composition
Nutrition education is also an important element of our physical education year.

The links in the header bar above will take you to important district pages and I encourage you to familiarize yourself with them.
The link bar at left contains links for my class. You can always click on the Class Home link to return to this page. The Homework link will open a page that will contain my assignments and other class work.
The Downloads link will open a folder that may contain various files and documents that I want to make available to you. Generally, you simply right-click on any document you want to download and choose the menu option that indicates that you can save the file to your local computer.
My Class calendar is designed to contain only events and schedules related to my class and subjects while the District calendar is applicable to all schools and classes.
